Terms and Conditions

Delivery policy:

Drop off and pick up Date and Time:

Selected dates for delivery and pickup may not be the same as the actual dates that the bin is delivered and picked up. Failure by the supplier to deliver or pickup on said dates will not incur any penalties to the supplier.

Delivery:

If a bin is delivered and not used and a pick of the empty bin is required, a charge of $100 will apply.

Terms and Conditions

Type of Waste:

Pete’s Gold Bins will not accept loads that contain the following waste types:

  • Asbestos
  • Liquid waste
  • Food waste
  • Tyres
  • Paint, thinners
  • Other Hazardous or toxic substances
  • Chemicals
  • Medical or sanitary waste 

There should also be none of the following placed in the bin:

  • No liquid concrete

If asbestos is found in the bin, there will be a minimum handling charge of $285 plus $185/tonne of asbestos.

If tyres are found, there will be a charge of $20/tyre.

If any hazardous substances are placed in the bin, then penalties do apply by law.

Loading Your Bin:

  • Strictly no sand, bricks, concrete and tiles above the top level of the bin
  • Strictly no overhang front, rear or sides of the bin
  • General waste – maximum 200mm above top level of the bin.

If any of the above points are not adhered to and the driver deems the bin is unsafe to transport, a travel charge will apply.

General:

  • Do not move the bin once it has been placed in position
  • Any damage to the bin will be charged to the hirer
  • No fires in any bins
  • Pete’s Gold Bins accepts no responsibility for any damage caused in relation to placement and/or pick up of waste bins on any site.
  • Pete’s Gold Bins offer a vergeside delivery. If we are asked to enter a property it is at the risk of the bin hirer and Pete’s Gold Bins is not responsible for any damage caused.

If the bin is delivered to a 3rd party on behalf of the hirer, the responsibility of the bin hire will remain with the hirer.
